Dating to the Middle Jurassic Period, 167 million years in age, the Red Gulch Dinosaur Tracksite is a 40-acre area with hundreds of exposed dinosaur tracks. Visitors can see incredibly preserved prints and learn about the site's importance in redefining modern understanding of the climate during the period when these tracks were made. The site is located in the expansive Bighorn Basin, about four miles west of Shell and eight miles east of Greybull.
